Talk about a DREAM TEAM! We're so fortunate to have the best assistant principals around. These are the busiest, hardest working people you can find, and we are so grateful to have them in the #PhoenixFam.

Math teachers in zone 320 celebrated their students' accomplishments in behavior, perseverance, going above and beyond, and being a committed math learner! One student from each class was chosen to celebrate for the month of March! Way to go, #PhoenixFam!

#PhoenixFam students, Jackson Wallace, Daniel Paxton and Eli Wetzel, will represent DTSOI as one of 17 student teams advancing to the Seventh Annual All-State Coding Competition! They earned the spot after competing against 160 teams in the All-Region Coding Competition.

#PhoenixFam teacher, Shelby Oliver, was recently recognized in Little Rock for being the Arkansas State DAR Outstanding History Teacher of the Year!

#PhoenixFam, we LOVE seeing real world applications of skills learned! Students pulled a transmission out of a backhoe for the district before we left for spring break.

Congratulations to #PhoenixFam student, Arlind Dedushaj, for a win at EASTcon 2023! He won the Faye Jones Architectural Challenge with his project: Off Grid Office.

UAMS treated DTSOI Students to hands on medical experiences. Students practiced tracheotomy techniques and tried out the Respiratory Therapy Vest. We're always grateful to our community for sharing with our #PhoenixFam!

Springdale High cooked up a win today at a culinary competition at DTSOI! Springdale won the chocolate-based dessert and pastry competition by creating a chocolate roll filled with sweet chai spices, a chai latte with cocoa powder and a dark chocolate disc. #SpringdaleFamily

Nathan Whitten, Har-Ber High School swim coach, shared news about Har-Ber and Springdale high schools' swim and dive accomplishments for the season at the March 14 School Board meeting. The teams are comprised of students from Har-Ber, Springdale High and DTSOI. #SpringdaleFamily

#PhoenixFam students, Joseph Rouse and Sergio Herrera, competed at the NWA Science & Engineering Fair over the weekend. Rouse's project in the category of Engineering, Materials, and Bioengineering won 2nd place and will move on to state at the end of the month.

The School Board recognized the district's band and choral programs for their amazing achievements this school year on March 14 at its monthly meeting. Participating students represented Har-Ber and Springdale high schools and Don Tyson School of Innovation. #SpringdaleFamily

Directors of Facilities and Maintenance at Washington Regional Medical Center spoke to #PhoenixFam students today about how to use experiences and certifications gained in our Industrial Maintenance Program to create successful careers in the future.
